God's Fire "God's Fire" is an oil on stretched canvas 16 in. x 20 in. and is side stapled.

The painting of "God's Fire" was a journey of discovery for me, asking the question, "What is God's essence?
The rose came to me as I painted and I understood that it was a good symbol of God since it is beautiful, fragrant yet it has thorns. But there had to be more, this was not enough and then the colors flowed dipicting an image of God's essence as God's Fire emminating from the rose, kind of like molten lava being held inside a volcano, awesome beauty and awesome power.
