acrylic on canvas, this is a group of work exhibiting flowers, althought not always existing anywhere but my imagination, and my own styles of vases to go along with the flowers.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia I traveled the world as an 'army brat'. We were always moving, going to 13 schools. At 12, by self diagnosis, I realized I was manic-depressive. Art is a necessity if you are bi-polar. There are just so many intense emotions that you have to have an outlet. Plus, I was the only one in the family who would go without sleep for days at a time. My husband encouraged me to put my work online. I have had moderate success at selling prints of my work. This will be my first site that is for 'outsider' work, which describes my work much better than any other catagory. It would be virtually impossible for me to go somewhere and show my works. I hope one day to be able to accept the invitations I receive. Maybe they'll come up with a better pill. In the meantime, I paint, I write, and I draw.
