Hello! This is one of my New Paintings. I love Bluebonnets as a child living in Harker Heights Texas. This is the first of my Large Paintings. I am completing a group of them. This one took me 2 days to complete. I just finished another that is a little larger and only one day to complete. Yes, it part of my excessive compulsive disorder. I thought if I were to paint larger pieces that I would have a lot of hours to put into them. But, my mistake, compulsiveness took the better of me so now I can complete these large pieces in a short time. This one started at 6am and finished before lunch the next day. Guess I'll have to try something around 10 ft high and 30 ft long LOL! Enjoy!

Me, well I'm Dizzy. I'm a self taught Painter. I like to say "Original Idea", what do I mean by this well here it goes!
An original idea is an Idea, which one person thought up wholly or partly independently of other people. Original ideas vary from brilliantly intelligent Innovations through to material likely to interest primarily "Psychiatrists". (Ain;t that the Truth lol) Originality is the aspect of created or invented works as being new or novel, and thus can be distinguished from reproductions, clones, forgeries, or derivative works. An original work is one not received from others nor one copied based on the work of others. The term "originality" is often applied as a compliment to the creativity of artists, writers, and thinkers. With other words: An original is and must be the base for duplicating, but originality can only be the source – one source ! Most of my life the thought of being alone would send chills up my spine. But for the last 20 years, alone is all I have. I spend most of my days indoors, very little do I venture out into the world. I have a panic/anxiety disorder, so my world is what I make of it. I buy most of my supplies when they are on sale or canvas and frames' from thrift stores. I go out when it's dark and few people are to be seen. I have created my own world in which I live and Love. I tried the old way of painting, you know, Impressionism, Cubist but nothing seemed to please my endless thoughts of what I really wanted in painting. Until I came across a old poem by a little know writer: "There are Loyal hearts, there are spirits brave, There are souls that are pure and true, Then give to the World the best you have And the best will come back to you. Give Love and Love to your heart will flow. A strength in your utmost need. Have faith and a score of hearts will show Their faith in your word and deed. For Life is the mirror of king and slave, Tis just what you are and do, Then give to the World the best you have, and the best will come back to you." After reading this poem I layed down to sleep and in my dreams I awoke to what I was missing, My Soul, I wasn't being True or Pure to my Soul. At that point in my dream, I came across a Red Cow, nothing more, simple but with meaning. I had visions of bright colors, but no uniformity. I do not look for Kingship, for now I know I'm the slave. I do not look for Fame, but just the chance to be noticed, to be remembered. So here is my gift to the world, my True Meaning... My Thoughts, My Life, My Soul and My Love. Dizzy
